Guido Santullo
Guido Santullo was a Franco-Italian businessman and the founder of the construction company Sericom, known for its significant involvement in public works in Gabon. His activities, particularly related to contracts with the Gabonese government, came under scrutiny for allegations of corruption and money laundering. Despite investigations revealing questionable financial transactions amounting to approximately 730 million Swiss francs, the Swiss authorities ultimately closed the case due to insufficient evidence to confirm corruption allegations. Santullo passed away in 2018, and the recent conclusion of the investigation coincided with political changes in Gabon, including a coup d'état in August 2023.
