Guilherme Baldo

Guilherme Baldo is a professor and researcher at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), where he investigates solutions for mucopolysaccharidosis, a rare genetic disorder. His research is currently in the pre-clinical phase, focusing on enabling modified mice to produce enzymes necessary for breaking down complex sugar molecules, with the goal of advancing to human trials.
