Guillermo Gosset Lagarda

Guillermo Gosset Lagarda is a researcher at the Department of Cellular Engineering and Biocatalysis at the Institute of Biotechnology, UNAM, known for his innovative work in genetic engineering to produce resveratrol, a bioactive compound with antioxidant properties. His recent project has led to the development of genetically modified strains of E. coli capable of synthesizing resveratrol more efficiently, offering a cleaner and more cost-effective method than traditional extraction processes.
