Gülnar Kürdəmir was the granddaughter of Əlimərdan bəy Topçubaşov, who played a crucial role in preserving her grandfather's legacy. She was actively involved in efforts to maintain and honor the memory of Azerbaijani national leaders, including the restoration of Topçubaşov’s grave in Paris.
