Guo Xiaoru

A prominent cultural worker and sculptor, Guo Xiaoru was a member of the Cultural Management Committee during the peaceful liberation of Beiping (now Beijing) in 1949. He played a key role in the cultural takeover of Tiananmen Tower, being the first cultural worker to ascend the tower after its new political function was established.
