Gus Sanfilippo

Gus Sanfilippo is a fifth-generation commercial fisherman based in Gloucester, Massachusetts, known for his expertise in angling for haddock, lobster, and flounder. He gained some recognition when he and his crew were featured in a 2012 episode of the History Channel show 'Nor’Easter Men,' which showcased the challenges of fishing in dangerous weather conditions. Tragically, Sanfilippo recently made headlines after the fishing vessel he captained, the Lily Jean, sank off the coast of Cape Ann, leading to a search for him and his crew.
