Gustavo Alvarado is the director of Sustainable Tourism Competitiveness at the Costa Rican Tourism Institute (ICT), where he plays a pivotal role in overseeing the development and promotion of tourism projects across the country, including the introduction of new hotels that aim to boost employment and enhance the tourism sector despite current economic challenges.
