Gustavo Masi

Gustavo Masi is an architect who served as the director of infrastructure at the Instituto de Previsión Social (IPS) during the presidency of Horacio Cartes. Recently, he made headlines by vehemently denying allegations of irregularities regarding a trust agreement with Banco Atlas, stating that the infrastructure projects under his supervision were completed successfully and countering claims of unfinished works. Masi emphasized the importance of the fiduciary model that allowed the IPS to overcome a financial crisis and significantly increase its hospital capacity.
