Gustavo Moratorio

Gustavo Moratorio is the Director Departamental in Canelones for the Ministry of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries (MGAP) in Uruguay. He was recently in the news for his role in coordinating efforts to assess the damage caused to local agricultural producers following a recent natural disaster. During a meeting with local officials, including the intendenta Gabriela Garrido, Moratorio emphasized the need for a detailed diagnosis of the affected producers and the importance of collecting precise data to facilitate support and resource allocation from the government.
