Guy Caron

Guy Caron is a former Canadian federal politician who served as the Member of Parliament for Rimouski-Neigette—Témiscouata—Les Basques from 2011 to 2019 and was the NDP House leader. After leaving federal politics, he became the mayor of Rimouski, a position he won in 2021. Caron has recently been in the news for announcing that he will not run for the NDP leadership, opting instead to focus on his upcoming municipal electoral campaign.
