György Kriška

György Kriška is a Hungarian professor and researcher known for his work in the field of entomology, particularly focusing on the study and conservation of mayflies, including the protected species Ephoron virgo. He has contributed significantly to initiatives aimed at protecting these insects during their mating season, including the installation of blue lighting on bridges to prevent them from being drawn to streetlights and subsequently laying their eggs on roads instead of in water.
