Højesteret
Højesteret, or the Supreme Court of Denmark, is the highest court in the Danish judicial system, responsible for interpreting laws and ensuring justice. It has a significant role in legal matters, including constitutional and administrative law. In June 2023, the court made headlines by overturning a reinterpretation of citizenship laws that had been enacted by the Udlændinge- og Integrationsministeriet, highlighting its authority in legal interpretations and the protection of citizens' rights.
