H. Ch.

H. Ch. is a combat engineering officer from the town of Tira Yehuda, who was critically injured during a confrontation with militants in Gaza in December 2023. After enduring a grueling 18-month recovery, including multiple surgeries and extensive rehabilitation, he recently celebrated his release from Soroka Hospital just before Israel's Independence Day. Despite suffering severe injuries that resulted in the loss of both legs, H. Ch. has shown remarkable resilience, expressing gratitude towards his medical team and determination to regain his independence as he continues his rehabilitation journey.
