Habil Onyango

Habil Onyango is a journalist working as a correspondent for Media Max, based in Homa Bay County, Kenya. He gained attention recently after being assaulted by individuals allegedly hired by a local county official in retaliation for his reporting on corruption within the county government. Onyango sustained serious injuries during the attack, which he claims was an attempt to coerce him into writing a retraction of his story exposing corruption allegations against the official.
