Hacı Hacıyev

Hacı Hacıyev was a prominent Azerbaijani translator, publicist, and journalist, whose contributions to the national press are celebrated, particularly in relation to the principles of fidelity to national media traditions. He held various leadership roles within the Azerbaijan Journalists Union, including serving as its Secretary and later as Honorary Chairman. Hacıyev was instrumental in establishing the Hasan bey Zardabi award and was recognized for his commitment to journalism during both Soviet times and Azerbaijan's independence.
