Gene Hackman is a renowned American actor and novelist, celebrated for his versatile performances in a career spanning over six decades. He gained prominence for his roles in iconic films such as 'The French Connection,' for which he won an Academy Award, and 'Superman,' where he portrayed the villain Lex Luthor. Hackman's extensive filmography also includes critically acclaimed works like 'Unforgiven,' 'Mississippi Burning,' and 'Bonnie and Clyde.'
