Hadeeqa Malik

Hadeeqa Malik is an activist and former intern for New York City Democratic mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani, known for her vocal support of protests against what she describes as 'settler colonialism.' Recently, she gained attention for resurfaced video footage where she referred to activism as 'jihad' and encouraged fellow protesters to embrace arrest as a form of resistance. Malik has also held leadership roles, including being the president of the City College of New York chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine, and is currently working as an outreach coordinator for the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
