Haigui Kountakdjian

Haigui Kountakdjian is the granddaughter of Onik Kountakdjian, an Armenian survivor of the genocide and Nazi persecution. Recently, she discovered family documents while renovating her home, which inspired her to investigate her grandfather's fate during his time in concentration camps. In 2023, she participated in the 80th anniversary commemoration of the liberation of Wöbbelin camp, speaking publicly about her grandfather's story and her hopes for finding closure regarding his fate.
