Haim Sasi

Haim Sasi is a rabbi at the Yeshivat Hesder in Sderot and a volunteer medic with 'Ichud Hatzalah'. On October 7, he left his family to assist during an ongoing attack, where he was wounded by gunfire while helping injured police officers. His experiences during the conflict have led him to recognize the spiritual and halachic needs of wounded soldiers, prompting him to help establish a hotline that provides religious guidance and support tailored to the complex situations faced by these individuals.
