Haj Ahmed

Haj Ahmed is a Syrian refugee who arrived in the UK on a scholarship in 2017. Now working for a leading multiple sclerosis charity, she has integrated into British society and is actively involved in charity work. However, the uncertainty surrounding her immigration status, exacerbated by proposed changes to indefinite leave to remain, weighs heavily on her mental health and her aspirations for a stable future in the UK.
