Hallvard Strøm

Hallvard Strøm is a marine ecologist at the Norwegian Polar Institute, known for his expertise in seabird ecology. He has been actively involved in studying the impacts of climate change on marine life, particularly how changing environmental conditions affect the foraging and migration patterns of seabirds such as the guillemot. Recently, he has been vocal about the alarming increase in stranded guillemots in the Oslofjord, attributing their plight to a combination of adverse weather and food scarcity.
