Hamid Beharović

Hamid Beharović is a Montenegrin national known for his controversial involvement in foreign armed formations, specifically linked to the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL). In January 2018, he was convicted of participation in such activities, receiving a six-month prison sentence, which he completed by the end of the same year. Beharović has publicly denied active combat involvement, claiming he was misled about the situation in Syria by friends, and has expressed that his journey to Syria caused significant distress for his family.
