Hamid Damghani

Sardar Hamid Damghani is a senior commander in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and currently serves as the commander of the Quds Force in Gilan province, Iran. He has recently been in the news due to the U.S. Treasury Department's announcement of new sanctions targeting him and other IRGC officials, highlighting ongoing tensions between the United States and Iran.
