
Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani
Hamid-ul-Haq Haqqani was the head of the Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqania school in Nowshera, Pakistan, and the son of the prominent cleric Sami-ul-Haq Haqqani. He was known for his ties to the Afghan Taliban and had called for the international recognition of the Taliban government following the fall of Kabul in 2021. Haqqani was killed in a suicide blast at his seminary during a Friday prayer service.
