Hamideh Soleimani

Hamideh Soleimani is a woman who gained media attention after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as she was believed to be related to Qassem Soleimani, the Iranian general killed in a U.S. airstrike in 2020. Both she and her daughter, who are not in the U.S. illegally, were taken into custody amid controversial claims regarding their family ties to the late general and allegations of celebrating American military deaths.
