Hamidul Haq Haqqani
Hamidul Haq Haqqani was a prominent Pakistani cleric and the head of the Darul Uloom Haqqania seminary in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was known for his significant influence in religious and political circles, continuing the legacy of his father, Samiul Haq, often referred to as the 'Father of the Taliban.' Hamidul Haq emerged as a key religious figure, attracting attention for his connections with various militant groups and his role in shaping the ideology of the Afghan Taliban. Tragically, he lost his life in a bombing at his seminary in March 2025, marking a significant shift in militant targeting in the region.
