Hamis Mbetto

Hamis Mbetto is a prominent Tanzanian politician and a senior member of the Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, serving as the Secretary of the CCM Central Committee for Ideology, Propaganda and Training in Zanzibar. Recently, he was in the news for his strong defense against accusations from opposition leader Masoud Othman regarding the blockage of Othman's convoy in Angola, asserting that the opposition did not follow proper travel procedures and questioning their grievances as politically motivated.
