Hania Rosenberg

Hania Rosenberg is a Holocaust survivor born in the Polish town of Oswiecim, known infamously as Auschwitz during World War II. Her family's life was shattered when they were forced into the ghetto, and she endured a harrowing childhood, spending two years in hiding after her mother managed to protect her from the Nazis. Rosenberg's poignant experiences and reflections on survival are shared in her summer program, where she recounts her memories and the profound impact of her past, including the tragic loss of her father in a gas chamber and her eventual reunion with her mother in Sweden after the war.
