Hanifuddin Roslan

Hanifuddin Roslan is the Director of the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM), and he is currently involved in the enforcement of Islamic laws in Malaysia, particularly concerning issues of attire and gender representation. He was recently mentioned in the news regarding the investigation of individuals for allegedly violating the Syariah Criminal Offences Act by dressing in clothing traditionally associated with the opposite gender during a public entertainment event.
