Hannah Sewell

Hannah Sewell is the co-chair of Ontario’s First Nations Young People’s Council, an organization that empowers Indigenous youth to advocate for their rights and protect their ancestral lands. Recently, she has been in the news for her vocal opposition to Ontario's proposed Bill 5, which seeks to expedite mining projects in Northern Ontario, asserting that First Nations youth are rising up to defend their lands, languages, and inherent rights.
