Hans-Adam II

Hans-Adam II is the reigning Prince of Liechtenstein, who ascended to the throne in 1989. He is known for his active role in shaping the country's foreign policy and ensuring its sovereignty, notably through Liechtenstein's membership in the United Nations in 1990. Although he delegated his ruling powers to his son, Alois, in 2005, Hans-Adam II remains a significant figure in Liechtenstein's political landscape, having initiated constitutional reforms and engaged in debates regarding the monarchy's role in a democratic society.
