Hans Wender Lluberes Sánchez is a former lieutenant colonel of the Dominican National Police who was deported from the United States and is accused of being a leader of an international drug trafficking network. He was implicated in a significant cocaine shipment confiscated in March 2015, which involved 450 kilograms of cocaine arriving in the Dominican Republic from Venezuela.
