Harald II

Harald II, also known as Harald Godwinson, was the last Anglo-Saxon king of England, reigning for a brief period in 1066. He is best remembered for his role in the pivotal Battle of Hastings, where he faced off against the Norman forces led by William, Duke of Normandy. Harald's reign ended with his death in this battle, which significantly altered the course of English history as it marked the beginning of Norman rule in England.
