Haron Ng’eno serves as the Technical Lead for the Trade, Industry and Investment Committee at the Council of Governors (COG) in Kenya. He is actively involved in addressing the challenges of waste management in the country, particularly as it faces increasing pressures from urbanization and industrial development. Ng’eno has been advocating for Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) to engage investors in innovative waste management solutions, particularly through the establishment of County Aggregation and Industrial Parks (CAIPs) which are expected to generate economic activities while promoting environmental sustainability.
