Hassene Mahamadou

Hassene Mahamadou is the President of the Network of Farmers and Agricultural Producers Organization of West Africa (ROPPA), an influential body that advocates for the rights and interests of farmers across West Africa. Under his leadership, ROPPA has focused on enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting sustainable farming practices in the region. Recently, he led a high-level delegation to Liberia to evaluate the country's rice production capabilities, emphasizing the need for the Liberian government to strengthen the National Rice Federation to improve domestic rice production and reduce reliance on imports.
