Hatidže Turhan

Hatidže Turhan was the mother of Sultan Mehmed IV and an influential figure in the Ottoman court during the 17th century. She served as Valide Sultan, the title given to the mother of the reigning sultan, and wielded considerable power and influence over state matters and the harem. Hatidže was known for her opulent lifestyle and extensive wardrobe, which included numerous luxurious garments, reflecting her status and the wealth of the Ottoman Empire.
