Hawa Aw is the Executive Secretary of the Liptako Gourma Authority (ALG), an organization established to promote regional cooperation and development among Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger. She plays a key role in facilitating collaboration among these nations to address security and development challenges in the Liptako Gourma region. Recently, she led a delegation to meet with Burkina Faso's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Karamoko Jean Marie Traoré, to discuss ALG's potential contributions to building a strong and sovereign Confederation of Sahel States.
