Hazlewood

Hazlewood was a pioneering Guyanese teacher who operated St Simon’s College in Kingston, Jamaica, nearly a century ago. Despite meager resources and facilities, he focused on providing a humane education to lower middle-class black families, emphasizing the importance of teaching humane subjects and encouraging students to share their knowledge with others.
