Helen Augere Carlson

Helen Augere Carlson is the Piikani studies division chair and Title III director at Blackfeet Community College. She is a strong advocate for education as a means of healing and empowerment for the Blackfeet Nation, addressing the impacts of historical trauma and advocating for sustainable programming despite funding challenges.
