Helene Burningham

Helene Burningham is a professor at University College London (UCL) specializing in environmental science and ecology. She has contributed significantly to research on aquatic ecosystems and has been involved in various projects aimed at ecological restoration. Recently, she was highlighted for her work on the revival of rare freshwater wildlife in Norfolk, particularly in the context of the restoration of ancient Ice Age ponds, where dormant seeds have germinated to revive diverse aquatic plant species.
