Helga Escobar

Helga Escobar is the Director of Anti-Corruption at the National Institute of Rural Development and Land (Indert) in Paraguay. She has been instrumental in investigating corruption cases, including a recent scheme that defrauded Mennonite settlers in Río Verde out of significant amounts of money through fraudulent land transactions. Her office opened an investigation into the matter, which involved the identification and removal of several implicated officials.
