
Helio Fallas Venegas
Helio Fallas Venegas served as the first vice president of Costa Rica and as the minister of finance during the presidency of Luis Guillermo Solís from 2014 to 2018. He is currently in the news due to his involvement in a corruption case related to the defunct Banco Crédito Agrícola de Cartago, in which he, along with other officials, faces charges of influence against public finances and ideological falsity.
