Helio Neto

Helio Neto, a former defender for Chapecoense, was one of the three survivors of the tragic plane crash that occurred in November 2016. He endured multiple surgeries and a critical recovery process but was ultimately unable to return to professional football. Now 40 years old, he shares his story through motivational talks, emphasizing faith and perseverance, and recently participated in the opening ceremony of the Jogos Abertos de Santa Catarina, carrying the Olympic torch.
