Helton Santiago

Helton Santiago is the director of clinical trials at CTVacinas, part of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, and has played a pivotal role in the development of SpiN-TEC, Brazil's first fully indigenous COVID-19 vaccine. He coordinated the clinical trials that demonstrated the vaccine's safety and immunogenicity, marking a significant achievement in Brazil's capacity to produce vaccines.
