
Henry George Friesen
Dr. Henry George Friesen was a distinguished Canadian endocrinologist and medical researcher whose groundbreaking work on human growth hormone and prolactin transformed the landscape of reproductive health. Over an illustrious career spanning more than six decades, he served as a professor, department head, and president of the Medical Research Council of Canada, where he was instrumental in founding the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.
