Henry Reece

Henry Reece is a co-speaker and colleague of Salman Rushdie who was present during the violent attack against Rushdie at a literary event in 2022. In the assault, Reece himself sustained a gash to his forehead, which contributed to the charges against the assailant, Hadi Matar. He was involved in the event where Rushdie was delivering a lecture, highlighting the theme of keeping writers safe, when the attack occurred.
