Hercus van der Bosch

Hercus van der Bosch was an influential figure in the indigenous community of the Netherlands and was known for his role as a cultural leader and mentor. He was the driving force behind the formation of the Samboera group Anuana Maro, which was established on May 13, 2023, to celebrate and preserve indigenous music and culture. His recent passing prompted the group members to travel to Suriname in October 2023 to honor his memory at his funeral.
