Herman Bernhard Leopold Mantiri

Herman Bernhard Leopold Mantiri is a retired Indonesian general and former Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Armed Forces (ABRI) from 1993 to 1995. He is known for his strong stance against corruption in Indonesia and has been vocal about the need for comprehensive measures to combat corruption involving political elites. Mantiri recently made headlines by expressing the support of the Indonesian Veterans Legion (LVRI) for the ongoing anti-corruption efforts of the Indonesian Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), particularly regarding the high-profile corruption case related to the Whoosh high-speed train project.
