Hermidio, a former Costa Rican goalkeeper, gained fame for his remarkable performances, including his standout moment during a match against Alajuelense where he saved two penalty kicks, leading to a 1-0 victory for Municipal Puntarenas. He was also part of the Costa Rican national team that competed in the 1990 FIFA World Cup in Italy.
