Hezena Lemaletian

Hezena Lemaletian is a Nominated Senator in Kenya and the Vice Chairperson of the Kenya Women Senators Association (KEWOSA). She has been actively advocating for strict laws to protect underage girls from sexual predators and to address Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) in the country. Recently, she has been in the news for her role in promoting an omnibus bill that aims to amend several laws to enhance protections for victims and ensure harsher penalties for offenders, including mandatory compensation for victims.
